Meet the gs

John Kallaur - Morgoth, Son of Skrygorn
7th Semester // Stage Manager
John is from Timonium, MD, and is studying Kinesiology and Management. He’s going into his senior year with many adventures and a semester studying abroad in Madrid under his belt. This fall marks his 7th semester with the gs, where he’ll serve as stage manager and head master. He’s excited to keep gs traditions alive and soak up every bit of his final year with the group :)
John grew up singing in church and choirs, including All-County and All-State, which made gs a perfect next step. Outside of the gs, he serves as President of UMD’s Orthodox Christian Fellowship and works at STAMP. He’ll play just about any sport, but especially loves soccer, pickup basketball, pickleball, and hucking a little frizz. He also loves traveling and getting out into nature, and made the most of both while in Madrid. Otherwise, he’s listening to music or spending too much time playing Rocket League.
